Hurricane Melissa has left a trail of devastation across the Caribbean, and the people of Haiti are suffering the most. While Jamaica experienced the strongest winds, Haiti has reported the highest loss of life. Our partners on the ground were the first to respond in southern Haiti, and the reports are heartbreaking: over 30 lives have already been lost, with dozens more still missing.
