The Spirit Of Honor
But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home.” And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith. —Matthew 13:57
When Jesus visited His hometown of Nazareth, the people there refused to honor Him. He was not respected. As a result of their spirit of dishonor, Nazareth was not blessed with the mighty works of God their neighboring towns experienced. We must be on guard against a spirit of dishonor so God’s power is not blocked in our lives.

Final Thoughts
When a person has a spirit of dishonor, they lose the ability to feel God. They lose their responsiveness to God. The anointing may be flowing around them, but because of their attitude they don’t feel it. God may want to give them a breakthrough, but the flow of blessing is blocked. It is important to check our attitude and make sure we aren’t missing out on God’s blessing because of our disrespect.
