The Value of a Dream

September 18, 2015

When you dream, you become more like God than ever before. The nature of God that can look at nothing and see something is awakened in you. When God gives you a dream, critics and skeptics can’t stop it. Even if for a season you lose heart, the dream keeps working!

Connection Point: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1 NKJV).

Connection questions:

  1. ____________ have brought forth change in modern technology, society and played a major role in communicating important messages throughout the Bible.
  2. Who is the giver of dreams?
  3. Is adversity against your dream is a sign that you should quit or that it’s not God’s will? Discuss.
  4. There are two important thing we need to do before our dreams will be fulfilled:
    1. We must ___________ and forget what people have done to us that they meant for evil.
    2. We must become ________________ in the land of affliction or wherever we’re planted.
  5. How is Hebrews 11:1 related to going after your dream: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

The dream God has given you is a part of His plan and purpose for your life. Now’s not the time to quit. Keep going even if it looks like nothing is happening—God’s favor is not in the things, it’ s in YOU! Connect your dream to the harvest and bring change.
