Connection Questions

Interview with Camille Brown

April 6, 2018

Final Thoughts

When Jesus instructed us to forgive those who hurt us, He knew it wouldn’t be easy. Some hurts are so deep and so painful we can’t imagine being able to forgive. But Jesus modeled that kind of forgiveness on the cross when He said, “Father forgive them for they do not know what they do” (Luke 23:34). No matter what you have been through, Jesus is ready to bring healing and restoration to your life.

Connection Questions

  1. Have you ever needed forgiveness from someone else? How did that experience impact your ability to forgive others?
  2. What is the relationship between forgiving others and God forgiving you?
  3. What advice would you give someone who is having difficulty forgiving?

As I deal with my husband of 14 years walking out on me struggle with forgiveness. I we have to forgive no matter what. So, I ask God through the Holy Spirit to give me the wisdom and strength to forgive my husband. I know all things good are possible because of Jesus Christ death on the cross. I will over the pain, hurt and will have Joy again. In Jesus name! Amen

I have tried asking God, reaching out and forgiving my children and ex wife who I haven't seen for 12 years but the resentment occupies my thoughts every day and there seems to be no relief except for me to consciously realize when I'm obsessing and stop myself from thinking about it. Its pure torture, like a hell on earth.
