The Epistle of James

I want to welcome everyone to The Epistle of James.  I believe your life is about to be enriched and strengthened with a variety of topics that Jewish Christians, who had been “dispersed abroad”, dealt with.  These same topics speak to the church of today.  

Upon tapping in on the weekly icon, you will be guided by a set of instructions and questions for that week’s study.  Keep in mind this is a self-paced class.  The length of time to complete each weekly study strictly depends on the time and effort you pour into your study.  You may finish in less than a week or you may take longer.  Whichever you choose, make an earnest effort to diligently grow in spiritual understanding and in obedience.

This course has been carefully and strategically designed to help you search and understand biblical principles, to mature you in your study of God’s Word, and enable you to examine how these topics apply to your life.

Each week: 

• Read the assigned readings, highlight and make notes in the margins. 
• Watch the assigned videos and journal meaningful statements or lessons. 
• After all tasks are completed, answer the set of questions given for each week. 
• Email your responses to the questions to the instructor.  You will receive feedback and dialogue as needed. 
• E-mail your minimum 2 paragraph reflection to the instructor 
• Once finished, move to the next week/lesson
