A New Food Box Truck for South Haiti!

I have an incredible praise report to share with you! Several months ago, we sent funds to purchase a brand-new food box truck for South Haiti. But due to the dangers of gangs along the roads, we had to hold off on moving the truck from the dealership—it was simply too risky. We knew that if we moved too soon, the truck could be hijacked or even riddled with bullets. So, we waited and prayed.

In December, the dealership sent the truck to have the box installed, but once again, the gangs made it nearly impossible. The employees scheduled to work on it couldn’t even make it to the job site due to the violence in the streets. On other days, the gunfire was so intense that it wasn’t safe for anyone to be outside. But God made a way!

By God’s grace, our brave team pushed forward. Nelio and his courageous men drove the truck through dangerous gang territory to get it to the port. It wasn’t an easy journey, but they made it, and the truck was loaded onto the boat. Praise the Lord!

The journey by sea wasn’t without challenges either. Halfway to Haiti, the boat had to turn around because of high waves, nearly sinking! But again, God provided, and two days ago, the boat finally arrived safely in South Haiti.

Hubert and the Love A Child crew were overwhelmed with joy when they received the truck! This vehicle is more than just transportation—it’s a lifeline. It will carry life-saving food across South Haiti, including to those in prison who are desperately in need of nourishment.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, given, and believed with us. Because of your generosity, lives are being changed, and souls are being won for Christ in Haiti. Let’s continue to claim Haiti for Jesus!
