What You See Is What You Get (Part Two)
"For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." Habakkuk 2:3 (NKJV)
When God speaks something over your life, it is more than just words. It is a vision - a picture of what could be and what will be if you choose to believe. But here is the challenge: what God says does not always line up with what you see in front of you. Your reality might say broken, small, or delayed. But God is saying restored, full, and right on time.
If you believe in your heart that you are a failure, that you do not measure up, and that others are more deserving, you will miss what God is showing you.
But when you begin to see yourself the way He sees you, it changes everything.
You stop letting other people define your future. Their opinions become irrelevant because God’s Word becomes your vision.
There will always be obstacles. Present circumstances will shout that it is never going to happen. But God says, “Wait on it. Though it tarries, wait on it. It will surely come.” You have to hold on to what He said even when your surroundings say the opposite.
You might not see it yet, but when God spoke it, it was already set in motion. He told you your family would be restored. He told you that dream would live again. He showed you the calling, the purpose, the open door. Write it down. Don’t forget what He said just because today looks different. Pull it back out. Remind yourself, “This is what God showed me, and I will not let go.”
Faith is not pretending everything is perfect. Faith is holding on to God’s vision even when life slams you to the ground. You do not live by sight. You live by what He says. So lift your eyes. Look again. See what He is saying about your life, your family, your future. And when you see it, wait on it. He has not forgotten you. He will not withhold any good thing. And when the time is right, you will step out of vision and straight into reality.
