How To Miss Your Miracle (Part 3)
"Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk." And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked." John 5:8-9
The paralyzed man at the pool of Bethesda sat there for 38 years, watching everyone but himself get healed. His life teaches what to do if you want to miss your miracle. This man missed out on God's blessings because he made excuses for not getting into the pool and accepted the situation he was in. The third way he missed his miracle was his dependence on man. When Jesus asked the sick man, "Do you want to be made well," he said, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool."
If you want to miss out on what God has for your life, look to a man for your breakthrough. You need to understand that you don't have to go through a preacher or a priest to connect to heaven. God can show up in your car on the way to work. He can show up in your house when you pray and read your Bible.
Some of you are relying on man to fix your situation when all you need is a move of God in your life. Dig in, fast, and pray. The paralyzed man thought he needed someone else to solve his problem, but Jesus walked up and proved that all he needed was his own faith. No one helped him up. When Jesus told him to take up his bed and walk, he did so without the assistance of any other person. Jesus is more than enough for your miracle.
