No Reserves, No Retreats, No Regrets

“For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.” Matthew 16:25

When you feel like you have nothing left to give, God is just getting started. Like the boy who fed thousands with a little bread and a few fish, the miracles do not begin until the basket is empty. That is where the multiplying begins. That is where faith kicks in. When you reach the end of your own strength, when you give the last of what you have to Jesus, He takes it and does more with it than you could have imagined.

That little boy’s lunch did not look like much. People probably laughed at it. Maybe they told him to throw it away. But he held on. He gave it anyway. And when it was all in the hands of Jesus, not only were thousands fed, but twelve baskets were left over. God did not just multiply the food. He multiplied the baskets. He created something out of nothing.

You might feel like what you have is not enough. Maybe your faith feels small, your story feels ordinary, your efforts seem overlooked. But what you place in His hands becomes a miracle in motion. Do not leave anything in the basket. Give Him your time, your habits, your struggles, your dreams. Let Him do what only He can do.

And here is the truth: the blessing does not stop with you. It moves through generations.

What you surrender today might be the reason your children and grandchildren walk in freedom tomorrow.

You are not just filling your own basket. You are building a legacy of healing, strength, and faith.

There is a story of Bill Borden, a young man born into great wealth who gave it all away to follow God’s call to be a missionary. He died young, but he left behind a simple note with three powerful words: “No reserves, no retreats, no regrets.” That is the heart God is looking for. Someone willing to give it all.
