It’s Time To Move (Part Two)
“Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing to Zion, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain gladness and joy; sorrow and mourning shall flee away.” Isaiah 51:11 (NKJV)
You are not leaving anyone or anything God has promised you behind. Your family is coming with you. Your joy is coming with you. Your peace is coming with you. Hell cannot have your children, your marriage, your purpose, or your future. You are not staying in this place. God is leading you into a new season, a higher level, and a greater promise.
Some people will ask, “Aren’t you satisfied where you are?” Your answer should be, “No, there is more.” You have stayed here long enough. It is time to pull up your robe, show your knees, grab your staff, and put on your shoes. The Lord is calling you to run with the vision. That means casting off the burdens and grievances of the past season. That means refusing to get comfortable in a place God never intended for you to settle.
In the South, we have a saying: “Take your shoes off and stay a while.” It is an invitation to get comfortable. Spiritually, that is exactly what you must avoid when God is calling you forward. Some believers have taken their shoes off in the middle of a battle. They stopped expecting change and breakthrough, settling into discouragement, fear, or even sin. But God is saying, “Get your shoes on. Get your staff ready. I am about to move, and I move quickly.”
There is a transition coming. Some of you have been tripping over garments of heaviness and dwelling on where you have been instead of where God is taking you. But the valley is ending. The judgment has lifted. The drought is over.
There is victory in your future.
Do not wait until you see the Red Sea part before you praise Him. Sing before it happens. Shout before it breaks through. Put your shoes on in expectation. The curse is broken. Chains are falling. The Lord is leading you to a land flowing with milk and honey. Joy and gladness are your inheritance, and sorrow and mourning will flee away.
Prayer: Lord, I thank You for the promise that this valley will come to an end and my next season will be one of victory. I refuse to settle where you never called me to stay. Today, I put my shoes on and prepare my heart to move. I cast off the heaviness of the past and step forward in faith, expecting your breakthrough. I praise you before I see it, because I know you are faithful. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
