I Started Fasting This Year With Expectations...
I've been working in the KidPak ministry for the last year and a half. I started fasting this year with expectations, and I asked God to give me a different experience with Him.
First of all my husband and I have been thinking of leaving California for the past two years. During the first day of fasting my sister in-law from Minnesota sent a job link to my husbands' cell phone telling him that I should look into this opportunity working full time for a school District as a Spanish Outreach Liaison. Without hesitation I filled out the application, on January 7 asking God to open doors for me. So I kept on praying and my answer came so quickly that I am still in shock. I received a call to schedule a phone interview on January 17, but I felt that it was important for me to be at the interview in person. So Saturday I flew to Minneapolis for a Monday interview, and as God would have it I came in just before a storm arrived. On Monday after my interview the storm came in the school got out early and I was stuck in Minnesota for two extra days. On January 24, 2018 I received a call offering me the job. Now I am moving to Minnesota with my family.
I am grateful to God because he has opened doors for me that I would never have expected. He moved so quickly to show me that everything is possible through him. I also want to take this opportunity to thank Pastor Shelly, Ms. Marie, and Ms.Sandy at the children ministry for supporting me with the letters of recommendation and their unconditional love and prayers.
I want to thank you for posting FC sermons online. You have no idea the witness it has become.
