God said, I am going to restore your marriage!
"I want Pastor Franklin to know how much he blesses my family and me. I am 55 years old. I was in full-time ministry for almost 30 years in Arkansas. God blessed my calling and ministry in many ways, and I am thankful for how God moved in the lives of many through His calling my life. In 2013 I was asked to step down from my position at a larger church in Little Rock because the pastor said I wasn't a fit. It killed me and hurt my wife so badly. My family and I felt at that time to begin working in the secular world after the church hurt. But God...God brought us through. Satan still continued to disrupt and pry into our faith. 6 years ago-2017--my marriage survived a storm of infidelity. 27 years into our marriage, my wife had a 10-week affair with a co-worker I worked with. Again, I was devastated. She was shaken to her core. Three times I went to an attorney with $1000 asking for a divorce. Three times I returned to get my money back because God said, am going to restore your marriage" Again... But God has a plan. It has been a journey of faith for both my wife and me. God instantly restored her through His incredible grace and mercy. She was so broken and wounded. I needed God to show up and help both of us. I, as the husband, asked God to restore me while loving my wife as Christ loved her. Oh, what a journey it has been. We have been married for 33 years with four grown kids and a grandchild on the way. God rewrote our story! I can hear you now, Pastor singing some old hymns like Great is Your Faithfulness--and asking them to move it up an octave. He is a wonderful God. Pastor Franklin, I want you to know your sermons are so powerful and preached with incredible humility and power. You preach on God's agenda and not on man's approval. You are led by the Spirit and not by order of worship. God is using you each Sunday as we watch. My wife and listen to you and then go to church. We have led a small group of young married couples for the last 4 years. We tell our story of God's redemption. We tell our story of Satan's attack. We are blessed in so many ways. Thank you so much, Pastor, for your faithfulness and your encouragement. Many are in storms, and God uses you to bring them out. You are real in your walk with Christ. If we ever get down to your area, we are going to come worship with you. Praying for you and with you in this journey as we tell the World of God's amazing Grace in writing our story. Blessings." - John
