In recent messages, such as Grace, Grace, and How to Slay Your Giants, we have talked about facing our obstacles head on. I know the mountain in front of you right now may look impossible to climb. We are no doubt facing new challenges everyday as we make tough decisions about sending our children to school, opening our businesses, navigating job loss, and sifting through the maze of media to find truth. I also know that my God is able!
“Not by might nor by power, but My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. ‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!” (Zechariah 4:6-7).
Today I ask you to shift your focus from how big the mountain looks, to how big our God is!
Even in the midst of this pandemic, our friends and partners of this ministry have come through in amazing ways to help thousands of Holocaust survivors in Israel who are facing their own mountains. Our partnership with YEL, allows us to deliver food and essentials, provide a warm home, and even daily visits for these elderly Holocaust Survivors.
I want to share with you these personal “Thank You” videos from government officials in Israel, so you can see just how important this work is, and understand the impact of your generosity.
Eli Cohen, Israel's Minister of Intelligence
Yair Lapid, Head of Israeli Opposition
As we work together to level the mountains of lack, loneliness, and even fear for Holocaust survivors in Israel, I believe God will move mountains for you! We know Genesis 12:3 says of Israel, “I will bless those who bless you.” I believe with you today, that your own needs will be met, and that your own mountain will become a plain.
Thank you for making a difference. Thank you for helping us fulfill the command to “Comfort God’s People.”
