Southern Israel Attack - Over 400 Rockets Launched
Our ministry partners in Israel, from the Jewish National Fund, sent us an update on the recent attack on the Israel border. The recent escalation in southern Israel specifically targeted the very communities where you, our friends and partners of this ministry, helped us build fortified bomb shelters and the Eshkol Region Trauma Center and Playschool.
In fact, they were able to be used! Please continue to pray for our brothers and sisters in Israel.
Over the past few days, over 400 rockets from the Iranian-backed “Islamic Jihad” terrorist group in Gaza have bombarded Southern Israel. The people of Eshkol are now being protected by the amazing playschool and bomb shelters JFMM has generously built.
On Friday, during Shabbat, as well as today - which is the important Jewish holiday of Tisha B’Av - your support allowed the people of Eshkol to pray. This was at the synagogue/bomb shelter.
In the North, Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed terrorist organization in Southern Lebanon is planning their next war.
As tensions between Israel and Iran grow over Iran’s nuclear program, terrorism in the region, and threats against the United States. The Iranian Supreme Leader speaks to Iranians as they chant "Death to America" and "Death to Israel."
The threat is becoming more serious every day and the fear that Iran will use Hezbollah to attack Northern Israel, just as it does with Islamic Jihad in Gaza, is increasing.
All of this, in addition to the events happening now in Gaza, shows the great need for why the Northern Israel Emergency Center is so strong.
I appreciate everything Pastor, you, and your congregation are doing for Israel.
In addition to the Eshkol Regional Trauma Center and Playschool, fortified bomb shelters, and firehouses, together we are constructing a new emergency center.
The Northern Israel Emergency Center will help protect families, children, and infants from the frequent rocket attacks launched by terrorist cells in the nearby Gaza Strip. It’s one of the greatest needs in those communities, and I believe it allows you and I to be a part of fulfilling biblical prophecy in the Holy Land.
