The Remedy for Worry
The Book of Esther should be revisited from time to time because there are timeless truths found there. The characters are types and shadows of people you will encounter today—both for good and for bad. It’s the only book of the Bible where God’s name is never mentioned, but His handprints are everywhere.
Key Points
1. When it looks like God can’t be found, He is in it and He is working. The silence of God does not mean He is not there. He is ALWAYS there and with you in all things.
2. You have favor with the King. You don’t have to fear what others fear. You don’t have to walk the way others walk. You are a child of the most high God.
3. When you are in a quiet season and it seems like the enemy is winning, be encouraged. The Lord is about to exalt you and lift you up! God has your back! He will not allow the enemy’s weapon to prosper.
4. Worry doesn’t make you weak, it makes you human. Cast your cares on Him for He cares for you and He will come to your aid. He is your promised peace.
A Word from the Lord for your life
When worry has gripped you and it seems like the enemy is winning, the King is awake and He is working on your behalf and He will not forget about you. He does not sleep and He is not unaware of your situation. You made a covenant with the Lord and He remembers and He will do what He has promised to do.
Final Thoughts
Your King is awake and He is fighting for you. He is watching to see if you are still praising and worshipping and giving. He will rebuke the devourer just because you are giving faithfully. Are you? God checks the records and He will remember your faithfulness. Bring your worry to the Lord. Cast your cares on Him because He is God—He is YOUR God. He who keeps you will not slumber or sleep and He is working on your behalf.
Quit worrying about your health. Quit worrying about your wealth. God has you! Speak peace to each trial and each situation. Even when you are sleeping, your King is awake and thinking about your situation.
