One Day Closer to a Miracle

Sermon Notes

Sometimes, just making it through the day is a great accomplishment for a child of God. Some days will make you want to give up and abandon your calling. But every day you refuse to give up, you get one day closer to your miracle. Real victory isn’t measured by years or decades; it is measured one day at a time.

Key Scriptures:

Luke 2:4-14; Proverbs 27:1; Psalm 118:24; Galatians 4:19; Matthew 6:34; Luke 13:32; Psalms 37:18; Psalm 23:6

Key Points:

  1. This is the day the Lord has made. If you want to make it to the day of a miracle, you must learn to rejoice and get through today while no one is looking. The journey is part of the miracle. So, dance through a diagnosis, praise through the pain, sing through the sorrow, and testify through your tears.
  2. Christ is being formed. When you go through dreary and dreadful days, it may look like nothing is happening on the outside, but Christ is being formed inside you. In days of sickness, sorrow, and trials, you must allow Christ to be formed in you through the process of getting to your miracle.
  3. Celebrate before you get the miracle. People celebrate when the miracle comes, but no one writes about the times when the devil whispers lies to you and you feel like giving up. Don’t quit; just win today because the day of deliverance is coming.
  4. Don’t worry about tomorrow. Forget about tomorrow or next week. Do what God calls you to do today, and eventually, you will be in your day of destiny. There is a process you must go through, and you can’t give up! Just sail on today. God knows every day you have walked through.

Final Thoughts:

Every day you don’t give up is one day closer to your miracle. Your miracle has a process, and goodness and mercy follow you every day of it. God has everything you need in His house.
