Victory Unfolding (4)

There’s an old song we used to sing in church that said, “If I hold my peace, let the Lord fight my battle. Victory shall be mine.” Sometimes you don’t need to argue with your enemy; you need to hold your peace and let the Lord fight your battle.
Sometimes in your marriage, you don’t need to have a comeback. Sometimes you just need to pray and say to yourself, “Be quiet, there’s a victory in progress in my situation!”

How do you know there’s a victory in progress? Do you love God? That’s how you know. Romans 8:28 promises us, “All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” If you’re a child of God, “all things” are working toward your victory. Even those things that the Enemy does to harm you, God is turning them for your good. God has promised victory. It’s your job to trust His Word, be quiet and wait for it.

God’s already working on your lost loved one — if you would just be quiet! He’s already working on your financial situation. He’s already planning everything out for your life. You just need to relax and realize that God has planned no defeat for His children!

I want to encourage you that God is already working on your miracle. Don’t talk yourself out of it! It is well with you, with your family, with your job. Get this message in your spirit and learn the art of being quiet. Because there’s a victory in progress!
