Over 25 Rockets Fired in Israel

On Tuesday, May 2nd, there were reports of at least 25 rockets fired from the Gaza Strip toward southern Israel. Two of these rockets hit Sderot, and at least seven civilians were wounded. The first three rockets landed in open areas near the Gaza border, and the Iron Dome was not activated.

In addition, a mortar fired from the Gaza Strip fell near the border fence on Tuesday morning. This rocket barrage happened while children were being picked up from school and daycare. Local councils instructed the schools to shelter the children in place until it was safe for their parents to come and get them.

We are grateful to report that our ministry partners on the ground have built four fortified bomb shelters and the protected Kingdom Playschool in partnership with the Jewish National Fund.

We want to thank our partners for bringing comfort with grace to the Jewish people during this difficult time. Please continue to pray for their safety and protection. We also want to express our gratitude for your continued generosity as we work together to make a positive impact in the Holy Land.
