Back at the end of 2015, I learned about the Daniel Fast, so I decided to do the fast. I bought Jentezen’s book on fasting and decided to start my fast January 1st, 2016, bringing in the new year giving glory to God. I prayed for God’s will, my spiritual growth, family, friends, and a new career. I was in collections for many years and wanted out. I wanted to get into real estate but could not afford to nor quit my job and go to school so I prayed and fasted over it. Btw...that was my first time doing a 21 day fast and didn’t know what to expect or do but I prayed. Well in October 2016 my company was bought out and the president came to me and asked me to collect the millions of dollars that was on the books and they would pay me a bonus to collect it before the transfer. With God’s help, I was able to collect 99% of the money and they gave me a huge bonus that was almost equivalent to a year’s income. That was my answered prayers from fasting. I was able to quit my job and go to school full time to pursue my dreams. Ever since that first fast I have been doing the Daniel Fast every year and everything year God has been so good to me. God is always good. I’m so grateful for his love grace and mercy on me.
