Jentezen Franklin Says the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act ‘Should Have Been the Most Obvious “Yes” Vote Ever Presented Before Congress’
February 26, 2019
GAINESVILLE, Ga. — In response to the U.S. Senate failing to pass the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, Pastor Jentezen Issues the following statement:
“If we can’t all agree that a newborn child, regardless of the circumstances, should be cared for by medical professionals, I’m horrified with the direction of our culture. The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act should have been the most obvious “yes” vote ever presented before Congress. Yet for reasons that I can’t possibly comprehend, 44 senators felt that infant children don’t deserve a right to life in the immediate moments after they are born.
A helpless child lying there in a hospital room is not medical waste. It is not a complicated decision. It is a living, breathing human being. These children should be granted the same fundamental human rights that you and I have, and anyone who disagrees should have to answer to the American people for a worldview lacking in such basic compassion.
I’m grateful for the senators who did attempt to provide these children with this most essential protection. I am equally grateful for the President and his administration’s recent efforts to defund Planned Parenthood. We must stand firm against a culture of death and a ruthless abortion lobby far out of step with the vast majority of Americans. Thankfully, eighty percent of Americans believe abortion should be limited to the first trimester — nevermind allowing a child’s life to be taken moments after birth. I pray our politicians reconsider their point of view and come to an understanding that every life is precious and beautiful.”

I agree with you 100% & commit to praying that God does a shifting in the process of changing this bill. And I prays heavy conviction over those who voted yes on this bill that they may not rest until they have completely turn their souls over to God. And Lord let them realize the horrible son they have committed because children are an heritage of the Lord In Jesus name, Amen

Your so right pastor. It’s time we the body of Christ stand up and stand for the precious unborn. We have been silent way to long. I thank God that you as my pastor stand on Gods word and you don’t back down.

Please consider how many preemie babies are born and with medical help they survive and flourish as healthy children. Now, when late-term babies are born, the decision is made to kill them? What is the difference.........a choice of convenience? May we all continue to stand in prayer for our elected politicians, that they will search their hearts and seek God’s direction to guide them in choosing life for these precious babies. Father God, break our hearts for what breaks Yours.

If God has released it from heaven. It was his will for it to be here in the earth. Please dont allow anyone to destroy the blessings in the form of little children that God has chosen to send to this earth

In full and total agreement as to what Pastor Franklin in his response. Please, PLEASE, for the sake of Human Life, please reconsider the decisions made today. Every single Life created is from God Almighty, and every human being born to this world has the RIGHT to Life.
