Dream Bigger

"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us." Ephesians 3:20 (NIV)

The only regrets you’ll have in life will be that you didn’t dream bigger. You must believe this: whatever you can believe God for, He can do. It might be about saving souls or helping people, but your vision must be bold enough to match God’s purpose.

Take Joseph as an example. Most people only remember one dream, but God gave Joseph two dreams. The first was an earthly dream. He saw fields of harvest bowing down to him. That’s the part about authority and blessing here on earth. But the second dream was heavenly. The sun, the moon, and the stars were bowing down. God’s vision for you isn’t just about earthly success or material things. It’s about a heavenly purpose that blesses your children and your children’s children. If all you want is the house, the car, or the career, you only have half a dream. The full dream is about seeking God first, and when you do, all these things will be added unto you.

The vision doesn’t happen overnight. It requires slow, steady steps. It’s not about riding fast or making big leaps. It’s about consistent, faithful walking in the direction God has given you. You must keep moving, believing, and getting your character in order. If you’re dreaming about meeting the right person, build yourself up first. A whole person attracts a whole person. Let Jesus be your everything, and watch what He can do.

God tells you to keep believing for more. Don’t limit Him by what you currently see.

Vision matters at every age.

If you don’t have vision, you’re just waiting to die. Life is more than burdens, trials, sickness, and pain. God came to give you life, and life more abundantly.

Another example is Elijah. In 1 Kings 18, Elijah prayed for rain after a long drought. His servant went out seven times to look for a sign. The first six times, he saw nothing. But the seventh time, he saw a cloud the size of a man’s hand. It wasn’t much, but it was enough. Elijah didn’t wait for a downpour. He ran with the vision. The Bible says, “The hand of the Lord came upon Elijah, girded up his loins, and he outran the horses and chariots of King Ahab.” He ran because he believed what God said, even if it was just a small cloud.

That’s what God wants from you. He wants you to take Him at His word and run with the vision. You might say, “I don’t feel like God has a vision for me.” The truth is, you haven’t sought Him for it yet. God has a vision for every one of you. It’s both earthly and heavenly. Don’t settle for less. Dream bigger. Walk faithfully. And when you see that small cloud, run with everything you’ve got.
