A Sabbath of Peace for Israel
In the wake of recent attacks against Israel—from missiles launched by Iran to the ongoing threats against innocent families—our hearts are heavy, but our prayers are strong.
I recently watched a moment I’ll never forget. A grieving Israeli father, Ambassador Yechiel Leiter, who lost his son in battle, stood and declared peace over his nation. He shared his son’s final words: “We found the tunnel.” Even in death, they were fighting for truth.
Then, with tears in his eyes, he spoke: Shabbat shalom—a sabbath of peace. Not just for one people, but for all humanity.
Now more than ever, we must stand with Israel. We must pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for the return of hostages, and for protection over every innocent life.
We believe the Sabbath of humanity will come when we are united in peace.
