There are two reasons why God allows storms into our lives. When a storm comes, and storms come to everyone, you still must learn to rejoice in the midst of it. Don’t wait until everything is perfect to thank God! You’re in that storm for a reason.

- There are storms of correction. Some people are in storms because of the enemy, but God allows them to get your attention. He isn’t trying to hurt you; He’s trying to help you. When you’re in a storm, you should always ask: “How did I get here?” If you’re running from God’s will and sleeping through the signs God is trying to send you, God may send a storm to get your attention— especially if someone is praying for you. It’s time to turn around and go back to God.
- There are storms of perfection. When you’re in a storm of perfection, it’s not because you did anything wrong. Rather, God is trying to mature you and show you something you’ve never seen. There are three things you must know in a storm of perfection:
- Jesus is praying for you. Storms will come, but God is in the storm with you. Right now, Jesus is making intercession for you at the throne of God. He knows where you are and what you’re going through. Keep the faith because all things are working for the good.
- Jesus is coming to you. He will never leave you or forsake you. He’s working out all things for good, and nothing can separate you from His love. You don’t have to get to Him; He will get to you. He’s God on the mountain and in the valley.
- Jesus will see you through. Even if no one else makes it through, if you have Jesus with you, you will make it to the other side.
Final Thoughts:
You can get through any storm if you know that Jesus is praying for you, he’s coming to you, and he will see you through. God is doing something through the storm you’re in and all things are working for the good!
