Sermon Notes
You may never be a hero in the eyes of man, but if all you do is save your family, you are a hero in the eyes of God.
Key Scriptures:
Hebrews 11:31-34; Joshua 2:13-18; Matthew 1:5; John 10:10; Exodus 2:3-9;
Key Points:
- Get your family in God’s house. When you bring your family to church, you’re a hero in God’s eyes. All Rahab did was get her family in the house, and she became a hero in God’s hall of fame. Bind your family to God’s Word so that no one can knock them away.
- Get your family involved in the work of God. For 120 years, Noah and his family built the ark; he didn’t do it by himself. Nothing is more important than building God’s Kingdom. Everything else will pass away except what you do for God. Don’t just drop your kids off at church; get them involved.
- Hide your family from the world. Don’t let the internet raise your children. While you have your children, hide them in a basket of faith and love.
Final Thoughts:
You are a hero in God’s eyes when you raise a godly family. God will help you if you get them into His house, involve them in His work, and guard them against the world's corruption.
