1. Repentance means to change. If you didn’t change, you’re not saved. You can’t “get saved” and act the same; there must be repentance. You must be born again.
2. There is power in preaching. Preaching is God’s idea. God has chosen the foolishness of preaching to save those who are lost. When the gospel is preached, God is pleased.
3. Stand with preachers. Revival starts in the pulpit, but it doesn’t end there. If revival is going to come, people must stand with the preacher like the 11 that stood with Peter in Acts 2. Various kinds of people stand with the preaching of the gospel:
   1. People who love Jesus like John. Being religious or attending church is not enough; you must fall in love with Jesus! People who love Jesus love prayer, the church, giving, and obeying God.
   2. People who are wealthy like Matthew. God anoints people to make money and give the same way God anoints others to preach. It takes finances to have revival and advance the Kingdom of God. So, use what God has blessed you with to advance God’s Kingdom.
   3. People who evangelize like Philip. A burden to evangelize and witness to others must get back in the church. 86% of people who come to church come because someone invited them.
   4. People who stay like Matthias. When Judas left, Matthias stayed. Whether or not anyone else wants to serve God, you must decide to stand up and stay with the church and the word of God. Don’t lose your crown. Finish your race! The greatest testimony you can have is not that you left and came back but that you never left at all.
   5. People who show up like James. James was an apostle who followed Jesus, yet nothing else was ever said about him. There’s a spirit that tells people that they’re not good enough because they can’t preach or write big checks. But the church is built on people who consistently show up and with the preacher.
   6. People who have a testimony like Thomas. Thomas had doubts, but Jesus found him. If Jesus found you, you must testify! Even if you have questions or don’t understand everything about the Bible, testify about what you do know.

Final Thoughts:

Hell is afraid of people who stand up and preach the gospel. If people stand up and preach the gospel, cities, nations, and even the world can be saved! Whether you’re a preacher or not, you are called to stand!
