When you pray, it’s like incense to God, which covers the stench of what you're going through. It doesn’t always make the circumstances go away, but it makes them bearable. Prayer may not always solve the problem, but it makes it sweeter.

- The more you pray, the sweeter life gets. If you don’t pray, life stinks. But if you pray and praise in the middle of your circumstances, the less you smell the stench of what you’re going through.
- Prayer doesn’t eliminate all the bad things in your life. Prayer isn’t just about removing the pain in life, but about bearing God’s image in the midst of suffering. The people who mistreat you may never change, but prayer will change you.
- Prayer is God’s answer for the unbearable. When you can’t take it anymore, take it to the Lord in prayer. If you pray, God will give you hope and strength.
