How to Carry His Presence
Sermon Notes
Don’t treat God like a good luck charm or spare tire you pull out in times of trouble. Instead, recognize that God is with you and carry His presence with you into every part of your life.
Key Scriptures:
I Samuel 7:1-2; I Samuel 4:3-19; I Samuel 5:9; I Samuel 6:19; Revelation 22:7
Key Points:
- God can pick you up. God doesn’t need your help; you need His. He can take care of Himself and you. Every other god bows at the feet of the God of Israel.
- Take God’s presence with you. You can’t leave God’s presence at home while you go out and party. No part of your life is exempt from obedience to God’s Word. Be willing to surrender everything for God’s presence in your life.
- Be a keeper. The reason you have the gospel is because the generation before you kept it. If you don’t keep the message of the gospel, the generation after you will not have a chance to receive it.
Final Thoughts:
Everything you need is in God's presence. Keep it close to you and take God with you into every part of your life. The next generation is depending on you!
