We Stand With Israel (Part 3)

“Can a nation be born in a day? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.”  Isaiah 66:8 (NIV)

Picture the moment on May 14th, 1948, as it flickers across newsreels. While the world gasps, heaven simply nods. You are watching prophecy bloom. God promised that He would plant Israel in her soil a second time, and right before your generation’s eyes, the fig tree pushed out fresh leaves. That single day reset the divine clock, and it calls you to live alert.

God’s plan has never wavered. He said His people would possess the land, and He kept His word through Babylonian return and modern rebirth. Each fulfilled promise is an invitation for you to trust Him with your own story. If He can gather scattered tribes after centuries, He can gather a fraying marriage, a wandering child, or a faith that feels thin.

Jesus pointed to the budding fig tree and said, “When you see it come alive, know that the time is near.” You saw it. Nations debate borders, and cameras focus on conflict, yet the deeper issue is spiritual.

Israel’s restoration announces that the King is at the door. No one knows the day or hour, but the season is clear. That truth presses you to examine your heart. Are you living ready, or merely informed?

Ready means surrendered. Speak the prayer of salvation and make it fresh today. “Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Messiah. Wash me in Your blood. Help me and my family be prepared for Your return.” When you say those words with faith, heaven records your name, and peace anchors your soul.

Ready also means being in partnership. God still declares, “I will bless those who bless Israel.” Stand in that blessing by praying for peace in Jerusalem and protection over every family on both sides of the wall. Ask the Spirit to awaken the church with fresh fire. Young hearts are already kneeling in gyms and sanctuaries, weeping for more of God. Join them. Your prayers can ride the wind into dorm rooms, living rooms, and war zones.

Lift your eyes. The same Lord who kept Israel keeps you. Live awake, pray bold, bless what He blesses, and let hope steady your pulse.
