It’s Time to Dream Again
“For who has despised the day of small things?” Zechariah 4:10 (NKJV)
There are seasons when God does not call us to start something new but to return to something we once saw clearly. Scripture reminds us not to despise small beginnings because God often releases His greatest purposes in seed form. What begins quietly can grow powerfully when it is walked out in faith.
God’s timing matters. There are moments when heaven says, now. Not someday. Not later. Now is the moment to dream again. Vision is not reserved for a select few. It is for anyone who believes God still speaks and still leads. Too many people abandon their dreams because progress feels slow or results look small. But faith is not measured by size. Faith is measured by obedience.
When God told His people to walk the land, He was teaching them how to live by promise rather than appearance. You walk it out even when nothing looks impressive yet. You move forward even when you only have a partial picture. Small beginnings are not a sign of failure. They are proof that God has started something.
God also invites us to connect earthly vision with heavenly purpose. Your work, your business, your creativity, your goals all matter to Him. But when they are surrendered to God, they take on eternal impact. God is not looking for perfect people. He is looking for surrendered hearts. When you say, Lord, this is my life, my motive, my integrity, my future, you give Him room to breathe life into what once felt stuck.
Vision requires stewardship. Write it down. Speak it out. Guard it from compromise. It is possible to slowly shrink your dream until it fits your comfort or your resources. That is not faith. Faith stretches beyond what you can manage on your own and trusts God to supply what you cannot produce.
Scripture tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Dreaming again is not ignoring reality. It is choosing to believe that God’s Word is stronger than present circumstances. When God gives you vision, He also gives you the grace to walk it out step by step.
Some need to see their family restored. Some need to see their children walking with God. Some need to see provision, direction, or healing. These are not small dreams. They are God-given dreams. The future you is calling you forward, and God is inviting you to see what He says. Do not quit on the vision because it started small. Do not compromise what God showed you because progress feels slow. It is time to dream again, trust again, and walk forward in faith.
Prayer: Father, today I surrender my vision back to You. Forgive me for every moment I allowed discouragement, fear, or delay to shrink what You placed in my heart. Help me not to despise small beginnings but to trust that You are working even when I cannot see it yet. Give me fresh vision for my life, my family, and my future. Align my dreams with Your purpose and guard my heart from compromise. I choose to walk by faith, to believe Your Word, and to dream again in Your timing. Breathe life into every promise You have spoken over me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
