Only One Name

“Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 (KJV)

Have you ever felt the pressure to lower your standards just to fit in? The world around you is always pushing for compromise. It wants you to believe that all paths lead to the same destination and that truth is flexible. But God’s Word makes it clear.

There is only one name under heaven that brings salvation, and that name is Jesus Christ.

The church in Corinth faced a similar struggle. They were surrounded by immorality, and some in the church were even proud of tolerating sin instead of confronting it. Paul did not ignore the issue. He told them that unchecked sin spreads like yeast in dough. It may seem small, but if you let it stay, it works through the whole batch. His words were strong, even offensive, but they carried the heart of God. God is looking for people who love Him, live for Him, and walk in right relationship with Him.

It is easy to feel the pull of culture. Maybe you notice it at work, at school, or even in conversations with friends. There is pressure to keep your faith quiet, to soften your convictions, to just blend in. But Jesus said the road to heaven is narrow. That means you cannot follow the crowd and expect to arrive at the right destination. Not everyone is going to heaven, no matter how many voices try to say otherwise.

Here is the hope for you today. You do not have to waver. You can stand firm. You can live in truth without apology because Jesus Christ has already made the way. His blood is still the answer for sin. His cross is still the power that rescues. His name is still the only name that saves.

So let this encourage you. Do not be afraid to live differently. Do not compromise for the sake of being accepted. The world needs believers who will pray, who will live holy, and who will lift high the name of Jesus until revival breaks out in their own city.

Lord Jesus, give me courage to stand in Your truth. Help me not to compromise when the world pressures me. Keep my heart pure and my faith strong. Let my life point others to You, the only Savior. Amen.
