Get Ready to Proclaim
"And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." Matthew 24:14 (KJV)
Jesus didn’t answer the disciples with dates or headlines when they asked about the end times. Instead, He gave them what every generation needs to know to walk faithfully through uncertain days.
The fourth essential He gave is this: “This Gospel shall be preached in all the world.” God isn’t surprised by the times we live in. He has entrusted His message of hope and salvation to His children, and He believes in us even more than we believe in ourselves. When we endure faithfully, God can trust us to carry His Word into the world.
Today, the Gospel is reaching places that were once inaccessible. Through the internet, the Good News of Jesus Christ is going to every nation. From Africa to Asia, from Russia to South America, people are hearing the message of salvation. Lives are being transformed. Families are being revived. Even a small act of obedience, like tuning in online to worship or share the Gospel, can set in motion miracles that no human could imagine.
And the fifth essential? “Look up, lift up your head, because your redemption draws near.” Luke 21 reminds us that even in the midst of shaking nations, roaring seas, and global distress, the ultimate hope for every believer is Christ Himself. When you see the signs, don’t cower in fear—look up with expectation, because God is coming, and your salvation is secure in Him.
So, what does this mean for us today? It means we are called to live faithfully, endure trials without compromise, and boldly proclaim the Gospel wherever we go. It means using every opportunity God gives—our voices, our platforms, our lives—to make Him known. And it means keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, because no matter the chaos around us, He is our eternal hope.
Get ready to proclaim. Stand firm in faith, take every opportunity to share Jesus, and keep your eyes lifted toward Him. The world may be full of agitation and lawlessness, but God’s Word will not return void. Your obedience matters. Your endurance matters. Your witness matters.
Prayer: Lord, help me to endure faithfully, proclaim Your Gospel boldly, and keep my eyes on You no matter what is happening in the world. Use me to bring Your message to those who have never heard, and remind me to lift my head in hope, for my redemption draws near. Amen.
