Blessing Israel, Blessing Your Future

“I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse.”  Genesis 12:3 (NIV)

You need to understand this truth deeply: when you bless Israel, God blesses you back. That’s not just a nice thought, it’s a supernatural principle God laid out clearly in Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse.”

Look back in history, and you’ll see this is no empty promise. Pharaoh of Egypt, a pagan king, understood this principle without even fully realizing it. He gave Joseph and the Jewish people the richest farmland in Egypt, Goshen, because Joseph warned him about a coming famine and showed him how to prepare. Pharaoh’s blessing on Joseph’s people brought Egypt incredible prosperity, making it the most powerful nation at the time.

That’s how serious God is about Israel. When a nation, a church, or even a family chooses to bless Israel, they open themselves to God’s favor and protection.

And when they curse or reject Israel, they bring a curse on themselves. History proves it again and again: Egypt suffered plagues when it turned against Israel. Babylon fell after it destroyed Israel. Rome fell after crucifying Jesus. Even the Nazi regime faced judgment after the Holocaust.

This isn’t about politics or popularity. It’s spiritual truth. It’s about standing with what God has blessed, no matter what culture says. When Joseph and Mary fled to Egypt to protect baby Jesus, they went to a place that still honored Israel. That’s a picture of God’s hand of protection on His people.

Wherever you are, whatever your role, if you’re a leader, a teacher, or just a believer, you must stand with Israel. Pray for her. Defend her. Bless her. Because God has promised that your blessing depends on it.

Remember, it’s not about hating others - we love all people. But God’s Word is clear: honoring Israel brings God’s blessing into your life. So, choose to stand with God’s chosen people. Choose blessing.
