A Day of National Impact: Free Chapel’s Journey to Washington, D.C.
"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance." - Psalm 33:12
From the national airwaves to the halls of the White House, it was a historic day for the Free Chapel family. We had the unique opportunity to carry the message of the Gospel into two of the nation’s most influential settings, highlighting the enduring hope found in the Easter season. That biblical truth was at the heart of every conversation held throughout the day.
The morning began in the Fox News studio, where Pastor Jentezen Franklin joined the broadcast to discuss the spiritual state of the nation. During the interview, he expressed a deep sense of gratitude for a President who is intentionally prioritizing faith within the White House, taking a moment to honor the uniqueness of a leader who openly invites prayer and recognizes the need for God’s guidance at the highest levels of government.

He spoke candidly about the necessity of this faith-forward leadership, suggesting that for a nation to flourish truly, it must return to the great principles found in the Bible: love for one another, honesty, integrity, and the power of forgiveness.
In the same segment, Pastor Franklin reminded viewers that as we enter this Holy Weekend, we must remember that Calvary is ultimately "God’s reach for you." He shared a poignant reflection on Golgotha, the place of the skull where the cross was first planted, and challenged every believer to plant the cross in the center of their own decision-making.
This call to the cross is a call to God's ultimate sacrifice, as Romans 5:8 reminds us: "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." His message was clear: because Jesus rose, we have a life and a hope that extends far beyond this world.
Following the broadcast, the team moved to the White House for a special Easter luncheon hosted for faith leaders from across the country. It was a profound honor for the Free Chapel Worship team to lead the gathering, which included President Trump and the First Lady, in a time of musical reflection.
As the room filled with the sounds of The Old Rugged Cross and How Great Thou Art, there was a deep sense of appreciation for the atmosphere of worship being cultivated, it served as a powerful reminder that now, more than ever, it is a vital time for the world to turn back to the peace of God.
This spirit of intercession aligns with the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14: "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
These significant milestones do not happen by accident. They are the result of God opening doors and the faithful partnership of the Free Chapel family. Every televised message and every moment of worship in our nation’s capital is made possible by those who stand with this ministry in prayer.
We are deeply grateful for the community that helps make this global impact a reality, standing together in the promise of 1 Peter 1:3: "In his great mercy, he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."
